A Bolivar native, Dr. Hunter majored in Animal Science at the University of Missouri for two years before being accepted into veterinary school. He graduated from the University of Missouri’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019 and practiced primarily with large animals for his first 4 years of clinical practice. Dr. Hunter joined MVH in the fall of 2023 and enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, especially surgery. When not working Dr. Hunter enjoys spending time with his wife Abby and two sons. They share their home with their family dog Remi.
