A Monett native, Dr. Erin Carnes (Gasser) graduated from Monett High School in 2008. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Drury University, she was accepted into the University of Missouri’s College of Veterinary Medicine in Columbia, MO. She graduated with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Missouri in 2017 and purchased Monett Veterinary Hospital in 2018.
Dr. Erin strives to provide expert veterinary medicine to all of her patients. She values the Human- Animal bond and takes great pride in providing compassionate care during all stages of a pet’s life.
Dr. Erin is married to her high school sweetheart Zach Carnes. Together they have two sons: Gavin and Rhett. In their free time Dr. Erin and Zach enjoy hunting, working on the family Hereford farm, remodeling houses, and beach vacations. They have one furry family member, Elroy, a long-eared low-rider Bassett Hound who spends most of his time sleeping or begging for treats.
